I know what it feels like to know you were made for more… but have no idea how to begin.

Growing up, I was the quiet, shy girl who avoided attention. The one who wouldn’t raise her hand, who wouldn’t speak unless spoken to. But even in my silence, a powerful desire to create and be free burned within me.

I grew up watching my mom hustle. She sold different things just to support her family, despite being a Civil servant. I learned the invaluable lessons of speaking up (even with a trembling voice), offering value, and showing up despite exhaustion from her, my mum was my first teacher.

At the age of nine, I started my first business selling bread, a small venture that ignited my love for entrepreneurship. I used a small gift from a family friend to start.

When I got into university, I didn’t stop, despite the fact that I didn’t know about strategies, profit margins and all, I braided hair on weekends, sold hair extensions, learned how to sew in my final year, and by 2012, I launched my fashion business. But this was just the initial chapter.

The Unexpected Turning Point

In 2018, I quietly took my fashion and sewing skills online, started a YouTube channel with simple passion. That channel grew to over 340,000 subscribers, proving that you don’t need to be loud to be seen. I built my website donlarrie.com, created and sold online courses and digital products. I also started selling my products on Ecommerce platforms – Etsy and eBay.

Eventually, life’s demands led me to step away from social media shortly after covid 19. 

My business evolved, and I launched new businesses – photography business in 2023 and a printing business in 2024.

From the outside, things looked successful. Yet, a persistent inner nudge told me something was missing. God was calling me. Initially I ignored and overlooked it, I focused on my business goals, but my peace was gone. My spirit was restless. So I went back to God, I sat with him, asked him for clear and divine direction, and that’s when it became clear:

This wasn’t just only about business anymore. This was a calling, an assignment.

God wanted me to support women like me, those who feel unseen, forgotten, and uncertain about starting or growing their own ventures, yet deeply yearn for more.

Over the last 13 years that I officially launched my first business, business has given me more than income. It’s given me confidence, clarity, and freedom. It’s helped me grow as a woman, a mother, a leader and now, a mentor.

That’s why I created this space, a space I wish I had, to help other women start and grow businesses that feel aligned, meaningful, and profitable.

It’s not just about business strategies, it’s about identity. It’s about stepping into your role as a Glow CEO: the woman who feels confident, seen, fulfilled, and rooted in her God-given purpose.
